I love something that is simple, super easy to put together and full of great flavors. That's why my favorite breakfast is avocado toast with sliced tomatoes. I especially like to make this with my homemade sourdough bread. This one is easy to make. I take 1/2 of an avocado and mash it up while still in the skin/shell. Cut a fairly thick slice of sourdough and toast it until golden brown with deliciousness. Once toasted, scoop out the avocado and smear it on the toast. To add extra flavor you can sprinkle on some toppings, like that from "Everything Bagel". I use a mix of dried onions, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, garlic and sesame seeds. Add to that 2-3 thick slices of tomato, sprinkled with some granulated garlic for a yummy, fast and easy breakfast! Recently, as I started fermenting my own vegetables, I have become addicted to putting some fermented jalapeno slices and fermented red bell pepper slices on my avocado toast. I am not really a breakfast person, but this has me excited to wake up for breakfast in the morning!
